Description
Bluestone
Bluestone pavers and tiles offer a timeless natural stone finish characterised by deep charcoal to blue-grey tones and subtle mineral variation. Known for its strength and durability, bluestone has been widely used in architectural landscapes for generations.
Our Bluestone pavers are calibrated to a consistent thickness then sandblasted and lightly tumbled to create a refined, slip-resistant surface with a naturally aged appearance. This finish provides both visual character and practical performance in outdoor environments.
Extremely dense and hardwearing, bluestone is well suited to Australian conditions and performs reliably in high traffic areas. It is an ideal choice for pool surrounds, walkways, patios, courtyards and outdoor entertaining areas, while also being suitable for driveway applications when installed on an engineered concrete slab.
Independently slip tested using the wet pendulum method, Bluestone achieves a P4 slip rating (53), meeting Australian Standards requirements for stair landings, ramps and external pedestrian surfaces.

Natural Stone Disclaimer
Due to the nature of natural stone, variations in appearance, colour, texture, grain, shape, size and markings are to be expected. No two pavers or tiles will be identical — this natural variation is what gives stone its unique beauty and character.
It is recommended to blend tiles or pavers from multiple crates prior to installation to ensure a balanced and consistent overall appearance.
Products have an acceptable size tolerance of up to ±2.5mm. For best results, pavers should be arranged by thickness and installed with an appropriate grout joint.
Minor chipping and natural markings are considered acceptable characteristics of natural stone. It is the responsibility of the installer or purchaser to inspect all tiles or pavers prior to laying. Claims will not be accepted once products have been installed.
Excessive chipping, structural cracks, or significant size variation may be eligible for assessment and claim.
We strongly recommend sealing all pavers and tiles after installation.
Bluestone Material Characteristics
Bluestone is a dense volcanic stone formed from cooled basaltic lava, making it extremely strong and durable for outdoor paving applications.
Natural variation in colour, mineral markings and surface texture are inherent characteristics of bluestone and contribute to its authentic appearance. Slight tonal variation between pieces is normal and should be expected.
Small surface pits or natural mineral markings may occur and are part of the stone’s natural formation and do not affect the durability or performance of the material.
