Information
Before the turf is laid
Spread Rely Pre-emergent out (as per instructions) and water in. Once that is dry, spread out the Lawn Play Underlay (as per instructions) and lay your new lawn. Once the turf is laid, water in by placing a cup 2 metres away from your device and only move the device when the cup measures 25mm of water. Your new lawn should be watered for around one hour per day for the first 2 weeks, then water as necessary.
2 weeks after turf is laid
Apply Acelepryn (as per instructions) to give your lawn a protective barrier against lawn grub.
4-6 weeks after the turf is laid
Apply Lawn Play All Rounder fertiliser (for Buffalo or Couch) as per instructions, or Lawn Play Zoystar (for Zoysia) to give your lawn its first fertilise. This will generally be when you give your lawn its first mow, so fertilise after that.
3 Months after the turf is laid
Apply Lawn Play All Rounder fertiliser (as per instructions) to the lawn at the start of each season (every 3 months). This applies to all turf varieties except Zoysia.
6 Months after the turf is laid
Apply Acelepryn and Rely Pre-emergent to give your lawn ongoing protection – this should be done every 6 months, between the months of August/September and March/April. If you have a Zoysia lawn, in addition to Acelepyrn and Rely Pre-emergent, apply the Zoystar fertiliser (as per instructions) every 6 months.
