Lawn Play Aquaturf helps speed penetration of applied moisture, as well as protecting sol against dry patches by ensuring uniform rewetting for an extended period – from 1-3 months depending on soil type and application rate. Dry patches results when soils approach wilting point and soil fungi produce waxy secretions that coat surrounding soil particles. Hydrophobicity results and presents as Isolated areas of hard to wet soil subsequent runoff and ‘fingering’ at the wetting front cause turf to wilt and eventually die.

By reducing surface tension, Lawn Play Aquaturf increases the coverage of water around individual soil particles and holds it for use by plant roots. At the same time, Aquaturf promotes the drainage of free water to allow the return of air to soil pore spaces.

Aquaturf can be used on all soils, from heavy clays to pure sands. wherever turf roots inhabit soil, the oils and organic residue they leave provide an opportunity for Aquaturf to bind and remain, working longer and stronger then conventional wetting agents.
