Professional Turf Laying

Description

Professional laying fee covers the cost of having your turf laid on a pre-prepared surface.

On the day your turf is delivered, turf layers will arrive and lay your turf on your prepared surface, once installed they will roll the entire turfed area, this will improve the turf/soil contact and remove any unwanted air pockets

To prepare your surface, clear the site from all debris i.e., sticks, rocks etc.

Spread under turf soil using a rake across the area which you intend on turfing, to a minimum depth of 100-150mm.

Be sure to keep your soil about 2 – 3cm below sidewalks or driveways as your new lawn needs to be laid on top (typically the slabs are 25mm in height).

Professional Laying of turf is only available between Monday to Friday.

If your area is under 230m2 select ‘Under 230’ and enter 1 in the Qty field.

If your area is between 231m2 and 999m2 select ‘231m2 – 999m2’ and enter your total m2 area in the Qty field.

If your area is between 1000m2 and 3000m2 select ‘1000m2 – 3000m2’ and enter your total m2 area in the Qty field.

Extra costs may apply,

A Wheel-Barrowing fee will apply if the turf has been delivered more than 10 meters distance to
the laying site, or if the site is difficult to access. (Incidences where a wheelbarrowing change may apply.

1.    Turf to be laid is at the back of the property but can only be delivered to the front of the property.

2.    Turf has been delivered at bottom of the steep driveway and the turfing is at top of the driveway. etc.)
